Share files and photos wirelessly without cellular network or Wi-Fi^® access point. With FlashAir™, there’s no need to pull out the SD card from your camera and upload the pictures to your PC in order to share them. The FlashAir™ is embedded with a wireless LAN chip which allows you to share your pictures via smartphones or tablets (up to 7 users in one go)! Simply download the Android or iOS app below.

Share more than just photos

Share a wide range of files^*1 such as audio and text files. It also works with devices such as IC recorders to share recording of meetings.

^* Photoshare allows you to show only photos and videos from a specified date in the list of photo and video thumbnails. Please change the initial SSID and the initial password for Photoshare through the FlashAir™ App for Android or iOS before each use of Photoshare. Please note that your files other than photos and videos specified by you on Photoshare may be unexpectedly accessed by the users with whom you have shared your password for Photoshare depending on the way to access your FlashAir™.

Download and Share Photos Effortlessly

To view the pictures stores on FlashAir™, simply use your standard internet browser, Android or iOS app to download the photos.The new firmware also features an ‘internet pass-through’ mode that further simplifies photo sharing. Once a mobile device is connected to the FlashAir card, the internet pass-through functionality enables the device to access the internet via a wireless access point. This removes the need for users to swap between a WiFi connection and the FlashAir card when uploading images to social media sites.

This new functionality will also be made available for the recently introduced 8GB and 16GB Speed Class 10 FlashAir cards running earlier firmware versions, which can be updated by using the Firmware Update Tool.

Easy Wireless LAN Setup

You do not need any drivers, software or cables. Just slide your FlashAir™ SD Card into your camera or camcorder and setup the wireless LAN function using a PC, tablet or smartphone.

Low Power Consumption

FlashAir™ maximises your camera’s battery longevity. The pictures will only be downloaded to your devices when it’s being pulled out from the SD card.

Specifications

^* Capacity is based on installed flash memory and not user available memory as part of the memory is used for management functions. Available user area are as listed above (1GB = 1,073,741,824 bytes). UHS Speed Class 3 is defined to be min 30MB/s data transfer speed of write and read speed between UHS compliant host device and card.
